I hear from many people who bear our surname(s) and want to join the DNA Project but cannot afford the cost. The DNA Project has established a GENERAL FUND to accept donations in any amount, and in any currency, by credit card. These funds will be held safely in trust at the testing company, Family Tree DNA, until applied to help sponsor test kits for key males who would otherwise be unable to afford the cost of participation in the project. Data obtained by DNA testing advances our one-name study while assisting individual participants who need financial help in their own family's genetic research!
