We can't tell if any of these are related to Irish Boe/Bowe. It's believed that O'Buoey and spellings like it were precursors to Boe/Bowe, but there could be another origin in northern Ireland and moving south of there. These variants are also found in Scotland and some could have migrated down from there. There could also be a mix of Scotland and Ireland origins here. Additionally, they could an extension of the Boe/Bowe clan who during Cromwellian times could have been sent to Connaght.
These variants do not appear in the Griffith's Valuation of 1848-1864. There are no Buoy but 21 Buoey in the 1911 census, all in Sligo and born there. Oddly, they do not appear in the 1901 census. Getting any modern descendents of the Sligo family to test would be interesting to see if they match Boe/Bowe. That would at least help confirm whether these variants were precursors to Boe/Bowe or have a separate origin.
Note these are just the first screen of search results totaling 104, but without paying to get the additional we can't see which may be too far off base to include.
