This individual matches in the FTDNA database. We are hoping he will join our surname project and submit details. It does not appear he has joined the Bowen surname project. Looking at the markers in that project, as of August 2010 it looks like he does not match any of the over 50 other Bowen participants. Bowen is an Anglo-Irish name, although there is one family by the name who arrived in Ireland with the Palatines.
He probably joined the Genographic Project, and either doesn't know he can use those results to pursue his genealogy, or is not interested in doing so.
